She passed her freeskate test with above average marks. She also competed the following day placing 2nd in her short program and 1st place in her freeskate. This was her first competition at this level and she was really nervous. She skated beautifully and landing all her jumps. She will be competing in Washington in July. She is really excited about her 2 new programs and can't wait to perfect them. She will be competing in Fairbanks in April showing off her 2 new programs. She will take her free skate sometime in April. This will allow her to offically compete at the Intermediate level at Regionals. Coral is also close on landing her Triple Toe. Coral skated beautifully and landed her jumps clean. The crowd loved her spins and cheered her on as she skated. The ACES game is one of the most popular sports here in Alaska and over 5,000 people come to watch the game. Coral was a little nervous this year for it was her first time competing at a qualifing level. Coral fell on 2 of her jumps, one which would have been a combination jump and she did not get her axel double loop combination jump in. She was only able to pull off the axel. Her spins were beautiful and she landed her doulbe toe high and clean. Even though her falls was a bit frustrating, Coral kept going and kept her head high. She did not give up. Coral is now working on her triple toe and double axel. She will be testing up to intermediate level by the end of the year. Coral is working on getting her jumps bigger and more variation in her spins. Coral just got her Juvenile progam and is really excited to compete for the first time at Juvenile level. Coral has worked really hard to master all her double jumps and double combination jumps.
