Coaches : Lisa and Sarah Henry

Lisa and Sarah Henry compromise the unique mother and daughter coaching team. Lisa brought over 20 years of coaching experience and has been mentored by some of the finest Russian coaches.
Her students have been competing locally , regionally, and also at the Junior National Championships. Lisa specailizes in jumps/spins technique, moves in the field, choregraphy, and provides students with on ice and off ice strength/conditioning classes, so skaters can reach their full potential. She has also managed her daughter's succesful career.
Sarah brings over 15 years of skating experience. Sarah has completed her senior moves in the field and senior freestyle tests. Sarah trained for a time at the Ice Castle International Training Center in Lake Arrowhead, California under the eyes of Igor Pashkevich and Rafael Artunian. Sarah has competed for the US Figure Skating for 12 years, having won the NW Pacific Regional Championships and collecting the top 5 finish at the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships. In addition, Sarah has competed at the State Farm US Figure Skating Championships and North American Challenge Skate International competition where she won the bronze medal. Sarah graduated from Dimond High School in 2005 as an Alaskan Scholar summa cum laude. She was elected to the 2005 US Figure Skating Scholastic Honors Team for academic excellence and skating accomplishments. Sarah currently is a sophomore at St. Mary's college in California.
Lisa and Sarah encourage skaters to have good sportsmanship, develop individual and team goals, have a good work ethic and learn time management, organizational skills and discipline, in a fun and caring environment.
Lisa and Sarah have been members of AAFS (Alaska Association of Figure Skaters) for 15 years. They are also current members of US Figure Skating , Professional Skaters Association, and the Ice Skating Institute.
